Welcome to my website.
Photography has been my passion since I was first given on old box brownie.
Cameras have developed greatly since then but to me they will always do one thing – enable me to capture a moment at a place where I was at the time I was there and the image that I saw.
Although I have delighted in landscape photography for most of my photographic upbringing, I am now looking at potential subjects in a new way.
After all, landscapes are merely a collection of items that come together to make the whole - trees, a river, the sky and clouds, rolling hillside fields, a lake, and even animals can each be included in a landscape vista; but we often forget that they individually have a reason to be photographed.
I have therefore become more singular in my visions and instead of capturing vistas I have decided, for at least the foreseeable future, to look at specific objects, plants, animals, and even people that fascinate me and can provide me with a reason to capture those illusive moments in time.
